Discover Chef Saradjeff

Situated in the heart of the city, this charming restaurant invites guests to explore a menu that masterfully combines traditional Georgian flavors with innovative cooking techniques. It’s a place where both locals and tourists alike find themselves drawn to the cozy ambiance and top-tier dishes.

One of the standout features of Chef Saradjeff is its commitment to using only the freshest ingredients, sourced locally whenever possible. The chef, known for his creative approach to Georgian cuisine, takes pride in elevating classic dishes while maintaining their authenticity. The menu here is carefully crafted, ensuring each dish offers something special. For example, the traditional khachapuri, a beloved Georgian cheese-filled bread, is reimagined with a perfect balance of rich, melted cheese and a crispy, golden crust that leaves a lasting impression.

While many restaurants might focus solely on main courses, Chef Saradjeff brings just as much attention to its appetizers. The selection is diverse, ranging from classic starters like pkhali (a vibrant mix of vegetables and walnuts) to more contemporary offerings that fuse flavors from various culinary traditions. The grilled meats, particularly the tender lamb kebabs, are a must-try, marinated in spices and cooked to perfection over an open flame, imparting a smoky flavor that enhances the natural taste of the meat.

The restaurant’s location in Tbilisi also plays a key role in its appeal. With its welcoming atmosphere and attentive service, dining here feels like a special occasion every time. Whether you’re enjoying a meal with friends, family, or a significant other, Chef Saradjeff creates an environment that makes you feel at home. The decor is modern yet comfortable, with touches of traditional Georgian elements that tie the entire experience together.

From a professional perspective, Chef Saradjeff is a clear reflection of the chef's years of experience in both local and international kitchens. His background in fine dining has provided him with the skills to blend creativity with precision. This expertise shines through in every dish, with each one showcasing a level of refinement that’s hard to find in typical Georgian restaurants.

Customer reviews often highlight the impeccable service and the ability of the staff to recommend dishes tailored to individual tastes. It’s not just about eating here; it’s about enjoying a full dining experience that leaves you satisfied both in body and spirit. Whether you’re a fan of Georgian food or new to the cuisine, Chef Saradjeff offers an opportunity to dive deep into the country’s rich culinary heritage, while still allowing for modern twists that appeal to diverse palates.

The dessert menu is another highlight, with delicacies that are as beautiful as they are delicious. A favorite among guests is the traditional churchkhela, a dessert made from nuts dipped in grape juice and flour, which delivers a burst of natural sweetness. Paired with a glass of local wine, it offers the perfect end to a memorable meal.

If you’re seeking a restaurant that blends experience, expertise, and authenticity, Chef Saradjeff in Tbilisi is the place to visit. It’s more than just a meal; it’s an opportunity to experience the warmth of Georgian hospitality and the creativity of a chef who truly cares about what he serves.

  • I recently discovered this hidden gem of a restaurant, and it was an absolute delight! The food was incredibly delicious, featuring traditional dishes that were full of delightful flavor. I also enjoyed their wine, which perfectly complemented the meals. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot for a relaxed evening. The service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. This little restaurant truly exceeded my expectations, and it was the best of all restaurants that I visited in Georgia.

  • Hidden gem in Tbilisi. We have been in Tbilisi for days and still haven’t found a satisfactory Georgian restaurant, until the last night in Tbilisi when we ate here. The food is amazing and atmosphere here is chill. Love the pork and also the house wine. The entrance is in an alley where we almost missed. Highly recommended

  • A hidden gem! 5 star experience from start to finish. The food was superb, we tried a variety of dishes from soup to grilled meats and fish, to hinkali and dessert and everything tasted absolutely incredible! We went back again a couple of days later with extended family (11 of us in total) and had the same fabulous experience and were treated like family by Maria who anticipated our wishes and made sure we had everything we needed I have no doubt where I'll be dining when I'm in Tbilisi again. The atmosphere deserves a special word too, cozy, with every detail thought through. Bravo Chef!

  • This place is soooooo cute and romantic! A quiet alternative to the noisy tourist trap restaurants!!! Just a lovely little place full of love. Just a little hard to spot at night because you have to look up, and into the alley hallway a little because the sign is small and not well lit. Kinda a hole in the literally.

  • Chef Saradjeff in Tbilisi is a restaurant that truly stands out—not just for its food but for the entire experience it offers. From the moment we stepped in, we were captivated by the ambiance. The setting is elegant yet inviting, with a design that perfectly balances sophistication and warmth. We were seated by the window, overlooking the river, and for a moment, it felt as if we were dining in a charming Parisian bistro. The menu is a breath of fresh air—beautifully curated, simple, and focused, without the overwhelming excess of choices that some restaurants tend to have. Each dish is thoughtfully presented, and what truly elevated our experience was the head waitress. She was not only incredibly polite and accommodating but also spoke about the menu with such passion and knowledge that it made our selections even more exciting. Her attentiveness and genuine enthusiasm added a personal touch that is rare to find. Overall, Chef Saradjeff is a place that combines excellent food, a refined yet cozy atmosphere, and outstanding service.
